What we do
One-Off Garden Maintenance
Much of our garden maintenance work is one-off — bringing a garden back under control after it's been let go, or tidying it up ahead of an event, sale or season change, rather than committing to an ongoing arrangement.
Commercial Garden Maintenance
We also maintain gardens for commercial properties, keeping garden beds, hedges and general grounds presentable for staff, customers or tenants.
Weeding & Garden Bed Maintenance
Garden bed maintenance covers weeding, general tidying and keeping garden beds looking cared for — clearing what's overtaken the bed and getting it back to a manageable state.
Pruning & Hedging
We prune and shape garden plants and hedges as part of garden maintenance — this is about maintaining the plants already in a garden bed or hedge line, not large tree work. Pruning of larger trees is covered on our dedicated Tree Pruning page.
Mulching & Planting
Mulching helps garden beds retain moisture and suppress weeds, and is often carried out alongside planting new stock into existing beds as part of a maintenance visit.

What's included
Leaf & Garden Debris Clean-Up
Leaf and general garden debris are cleared as part of a maintenance visit, particularly after seasonal leaf drop or storms, keeping garden beds, lawns and paved areas clear.
Seasonal Garden Tidy-Ups
Gardens often need a proper tidy-up at the change of season — cutting back, weeding, mulching and general tidying to reset the garden for the season ahead. We carry these out as one-off visits rather than a fixed recurring schedule.
Lawn Care as Part of Garden Maintenance
Lawn care can be included alongside garden maintenance where it's part of the same visit — see our Lawn Mowing page for mowing on its own or as a larger, separate job.
Choosing and cost
Which do you need?
Garden Maintenance or Landscaping?
Garden maintenance is about caring for and tidying an existing garden — weeding, pruning, mulching and general upkeep. Landscaping is about creating or transforming a garden or outdoor space — new turf, garden beds, paving or retaining walls. If your garden broadly works as it is and just needs care, that's garden maintenance; if you want to change the layout or rebuild parts of it, that's landscaping — see our Landscaping page.
More about Landscaping →What Affects a Garden Maintenance Estimate?
Pricing depends on the size of the garden, how overgrown or neglected it currently is, what's included (weeding, pruning, hedging, mulching, lawn care, debris clean-up), and whether it's a one-off visit or ongoing work following a completed project.
