What we do
How We Approach Pruning
Each tree is assessed before work starts, and we prune the branches or sections that need attention rather than working over the whole tree unnecessarily.
Elevated Tree Pruning
Pruning taller trees, or branches higher up in the canopy, often needs elevated access. Our team carries out this elevated pruning work safely, reaching sections a ground-based approach can't.

Removing Problem Branches
Pruning is often about removing specific problem branches — dead wood, storm-damaged limbs, branches overhanging a structure, or branches that have become a hazard — rather than reshaping the entire tree.
What's included
Truck, Chipper & Green Waste Removal
Pruning generates branches and green waste that we clear from site using a truck and chipper, so you're not left with a pile of cut material after the work is done.

Which do you need?
Tree Pruning vs Tree Removal
Pruning retains the tree while working on selected branches or sections — it's the right approach where the tree is basically healthy and the issue is limited to specific parts of it. Removal takes the whole tree out, which is the right call where the tree is dead, dying, structurally unsound, or its size or position means it can no longer reasonably stay. See our Tree Removal page for full removals.
More about Tree Removal →When Might Tree Removal Be More Appropriate?
Removal is generally more appropriate than pruning where the tree is dead or dying, has significant structural issues, is diseased beyond a point pruning can address, or where its size and position mean ongoing pruning won't resolve the underlying problem.
What Affects a Tree Pruning Estimate?
Pruning pricing depends on the size and species of the tree, how much work is needed, whether elevated access is required, the tree's position relative to structures, and how much green waste needs to be removed.

Frequently asked questions
Tree pruning or tree removal?
Pruning retains the tree while working on selected branches or sections — right for a tree that's basically healthy. Removal takes the whole tree out — right where it's dead, dying, structurally unsound, or can't reasonably stay.
Do you offer elevated tree pruning?
Yes. Pruning taller trees or higher branches often needs elevated access, which our team carries out as part of the pruning job.
What happens to the cut branches?
Pruning generates branches and green waste, which we clear from site using a truck and chipper.
