What we do
Residential Lawn Mowing
We mow residential lawns of all sizes, including edging and a general tidy-up of the mowed area as part of the job.

Commercial Lawn Mowing
We also mow commercial properties, including sites that need a tidy, presentable lawn maintained for staff, customers or tenants.
Large Blocks & Acreage Mowing
Larger blocks and acreage properties are mowed using equipment suited to bigger areas and longer grass, rather than standard residential mowing gear. Property size and access affect how a larger mowing job is quoted and scheduled.

One-Off Lawn Mowing
A significant share of our mowing work is one-off — a single visit to bring an overgrown or neglected lawn back under control, ahead of a sale, an event, or simply because the lawn has got away. We don't require you to sign up to an ongoing mowing round to get a mow done.
What's included
Long & Overgrown Lawns
Long and overgrown lawns often need a different approach to a routine mow — cutting in stages, managing the much greater volume of clippings, and sometimes follow-up work to get the lawn back to a manageable length. We handle this kind of first-mow job regularly, not just standard maintenance mowing. If that volume needs clearing beyond a normal mow, see our Green Waste Removal page.
Edging & Whipper-Snipping
Mowing jobs include edging along paths, driveways, garden beds and fence lines, and whipper-snipping the areas a mower can't reach cleanly.
Paths, Hard Surfaces & Clippings
Paths, driveways and other hard surfaces are blown clear of clippings and debris as part of the mowing job.
Clippings either go into your green bin or are left on the lawn — our ride-on mower has no catcher, so on the areas it mows the clippings stay on the grass. If you would rather we took them away, we can, for an additional fee — let us know when you request an estimate.

Choosing and cost
What Affects Lawn Mowing Cost?
Mowing pricing depends mainly on the size of the area, how overgrown the grass is, access for mowing equipment, and whether you want the clippings taken away — clippings are otherwise binned or left on the lawn, and removing them is an additional fee. A routine-length suburban lawn is a different job to a large overgrown block, which is why property size and current grass length both matter for an accurate estimate.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer one-off lawn mowing?
Yes. A significant share of our mowing work is one-off — a single visit to bring an overgrown or neglected lawn back under control. You don't need to sign up to an ongoing round to get a mow done.
Do you mow large blocks or acreage?
Yes, using equipment suited to bigger areas and longer grass. Property size and access affect how a larger mowing job is quoted and scheduled.
What affects lawn mowing cost?
The size of the area, how overgrown the grass is, access for mowing equipment, and whether you want the clippings taken away. Edging and whipper-snipping are included as part of the mow.
What happens to the grass clippings?
They either go into your green bin or are left on the lawn — our ride-on mower has no catcher, so on the areas it mows the clippings stay on the grass. If you would rather we took them away, we can, for an additional fee — mention it when you request an estimate.
